Joie Nails & Beauty (“JOIE”, “we”) respects your privacy and complies with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This page explains what information this website handles.

This website

joie.co.nz has no enquiry forms or accounts and sets no advertising cookies. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count visits and see which pages are useful; it does not identify you or track you across sites.

Bookings on Fresha

Appointments, gift cards and payments are handled by Fresha under Fresha’s privacy policy and booking terms. We see the details you give Fresha (name, contact, appointment history and notes) so we can provide your treatment, send reminders and apply our policies.

Other services

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Maps and your phone or email app open when you choose their links, and have their own privacy practices. The embedded map is loaded from Google.

Your information in salon

We keep client records (contact details, service history, allergies or sensitivities you tell us about, and inspiration photos you send) to provide safe, consistent treatments. We don’t sell or share them with third parties except service providers like Fresha, or where the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@joie.co.nz. If you have a concern we can’t resolve, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
